Jason Momoa is an only child born on August 1, 1979 in Honolulu Hawaii to Coni Lemke and Joseph Momoa. Unfortunately, shortly after his birth his parents divorced so Momoa moved with his mother to Norwalk Iowa where he grew up. Then while living there, he successfully graduated from Norwalk High School and continued his higher education at the University of Hawaii.
Still looking to expand his reach in film in 2014, Momoa directed and wrote Road to Paloma with writers Jonathan Hirschbein and Robert Homer Mollohan. The film also successfully premiered at the 2014 Sarasota Film Festival in April 2014, as quoted by Variety .
Then, in June 2014, he was reportedly cast as Arthur Curry or Aquaman after auditioning Bruce Wayne Batman. Before becoming Aquaman he had a cameo role in Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice . After that Momoa played Connor in the Canadian action horror film Wolves and starred in the horror film Debug .
One year later, Momoa starred in the films The Bad Batch and Braven but Braven was not released until 2018. Prior to the release of the film in 2016–2018 Momoa played Declan Harp in all three seasons of the television series Frontier and was an executive producer on that show. In July 2018 Momoa was cast for the post-apocalyptic drama series Apple See as written in Hollywood reporter .
Still in the same year after his announcement as the main character in Aquaman in 2014 he shot the film and it was successfully released on almost all big screens in the world. Momoa also reprized the role of Aquaman in The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part in 2019. That year, he also starred as Duncan Idaho in the film Dune . Then, in February 2020 Momoa appeared in Rocket Mortgage's halftime commercial for Super Bowl LIV and also appeared in Ozzy Osbourne's Scary Little Green Men teaser from his album Ordinary Man .
Two years later he joined the tenth Fast & Furious film Fast X as the antagonist Dante Reyes son of Hernan Reyes. In the film, he is the villain Hobbs kills in Fast Five . Then in April 2022, it was announced that Momoa would star in the film adaptation of Mine craft.The Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom trailer has officially aired showing Jason Momoa returning as Aquaman.
