 The Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial verdict has received feedback from a number of celebrities along with the fans of both celebrities. It was a trial where the American actor and musician sued his ex-wife for $50 million over her 2018 Washington Post op ed. According to reports, the jury concluded their deliberations after three days, with Depp getting the upper hand. While the American actress who is also a humanitarian and social activist is said to have tasted a partial victory.

As per reports  John Christopher Depp II aka Johnny Depp was to receive $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages after the jury found his ex-wife guilty of defamation. In lieu of punitive damages  Heard only received a $2 million compensatory damages award.

Social media comments on the legal dispute appeared to be overwhelmingly in favor of the City of Lies actor with many expressing their complete lack of faith in  the Aquaman actress claims.  One such celebrity among Depp’s supporters was Ashley Benson of Pretty Little Liars fame, who posted a picture of the Minamata actor on Instagram with the caption Yessss expressing her support for him.

The trial involving Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has received a lot of attention online which explains why the verdict was so widely publicized. The trial was broadcast to the entire country. In contrast, the 3 Days to Kill actress did get to see a shift in public opinion online which some of her supporters initiated.

Social media users have vehemently defended the Sleepy Hollow actor, ever since Heard first made the accusations against him. On websites like Tik Tok hashtags like Justice For Johnny Depp  received billions of views throughout the trial. Now recent comments directed at Ashley Benson for standing by Depp during the trial are making rounds. One of Heard’s fans tweeted she’s aging just as badly as him  referencing her and Depp’s growing age.
