David Harbour Says It’s Definitely Time for Stranger Things Finale We’ve All Grown Up.

 It’s hard to imagine Stranger Things coming to an end after its nine-year reign on Netflix  but one of its stars seems to think it might be time. In a new interview with Discussing Film  David Harbour, who stars as Jim Hopper opened up about how  bittersweet  it feels to be approaching the end of the. 

What’s funny is when I started the show  I never ever wanted it to end. That’s why I love the show. I think it’s a great show even if I wasn’t in it. Now we’re almost nine years from filming the first season and I think it is time for it to end Harbour said. But it is  of course very bittersweet. You know, there’s a sadness there. 

Stranger Things first premiered on Netflix in 2016. The hit show would go on to break Netflix records   and even the streaming platform itself as so many viewers tuned into the 2022 premiere of Season 4 that over 14,000 Netflix outages were recorded. But we can’t ignore the fact that the show’s iconic status is largely thanks to its brilliant cast  some of whom have been on the show since they  This isn’t lost on Harbour.  We have to get going because the kids are growing up we got to shoot this thing! he exclaimed. 

 We’ve all grown up. It is time for us to leave that nest and try other things and different projects  the actor went on to say. Harbour who stars in the upcoming comedy We Have a Ghost will be  running back and forth between sets in Atlanta  this summer to film both Stranger Things Season 5 and Marvel’s Thunderbolts.

It’s going to be a hell of a summer. It’s going to be just a lot of work  but it’s a blessing  he says. You know  I’m doing two amazing projects. So I’m fine with being exhausted. But don’t fret. This might be the end of Stranger Things but a spin off from the show creators  is already in the works.
