Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Rumors of Ledecestre Walkthrough

As Assassin's Creed Valhalla players make their way through the Ledecestrescire arc and complete Bartering, they open up a pair of different quests to pursue. Players can either head east and pursue Rumors of Ledecestre or northeast for The Walls of Templebrough. Both need to be pursued in order to complete Eivor's investigation of King Burgred's location.

The first of these, Rumors of Ledecestre is to the east of Lyftmere's Pond and brings players into conflict with the defenders of this city. For those Assassin's Creed Valhalla players looking to pursue this quest and complete it this guide is here to help.

Where to Begin Rumors of Ledecestre?

From the completion of Bartering players are going to want to call their mount and head almost directly to the east to the outskirts of Ledecestre. There is both a harbor and a viewpoint within this city for those that have already visited and unlocked these fast travel points.

Either way as players approach the city they will find an investigation area that highlights the tall tower at the southwestern corner. Ivarr one of the sons of famous Viking Ragnar Lothbrok is atop this tower, and speaking with him will begin this quest.

Where to Find Clues for King Bergred's location?

With the conversation complete players can head to either the church or the old bathhouse in the city in order to continue their investigation. For those looking to take the critical path head towards the surprisingly intact Roman bathhouse near the middle of the city.

This structure is well guarded with enemies protecting most entrances. Climb up the walls of the structure and enter through one of the large holes in the exterior walls.

This vantage point will provide great sight lines on the enemies within the structure. Activating Odin's Sight will highlight a few different investigation points inside the bathhouse. The most important of these is the locked door on the second level within the structure. The key to this door is on one of the guards within this building and should be highlighted with Odin's Sight. Regardless of how players acquire the key unlocking this door will bring players into contact with Ceolbert.
